Check that the brackets are level, that the top and bottom brackets are the same distance apart, and that each side is plumb. Then pull the mesh out and make sure it’s level and wrinkle-free.

Press the release button (C2) and lift. To put it back, lower the gate onto the mounts until it latches. This works the same on drill and no-drill mounts.

Press and turn the cap clockwise to unlock. Pull the mesh out by the handle, keeping it flat, and hook both catches into the receiving brackets. Press and turn the cap counter-clockwise to lock.

Move the lower bracket so it sits as close to the top of the baseboard as possible, on a flat surface. On curved molding, move it up to a flat spot on the wall above. More on fit

Clean and dry the wall, press each bracket for 30 seconds, then take the gate off and wait 24 hours before use. Use them on flat, smooth walls; they’re best for hard-to-drill surfaces like tile. The adhesive can pull paint off if you remove them.

Wood: PA4×25 (pre-drill no wider than 2.5 mm in hard wood). Concrete or tile with a baseboard: PA4×50 with M8×40 expansion anchors. Concrete or tile without a baseboard: PA4×25 with expansion anchors. Pre-drill hard walls.

Between rigid surfaces such as wood or a solid wall. Never on glass doors, across windows, or in a suspended position.

Check the gate regularly for loose parts and make sure it’s still securely installed.
